This year, Tray and Tae donated $6,000 to CSUN to create and support the Lorenzo Edwards – Twinspire Scholarship in the Department of Financial Aid and Scholarship, within CSUN’s Division of Student Affairs. They hope to grow this scholarship to $50,000.

Child Welfare Policy Recommendations:

The Alliance for Children’s Rights held a virtual policy summit, “The Path to Racial Equity in Child Welfare: Valuing Family and Community.” Demontae Thompson was a moderator for a panel during the summit and contributed to the published report.

Our ED co-authored a report with the Center for the Transformation of Schools, that’s intended to partner with young leaders across California to transform education, to ensure California foster youth have just experiences in the basic care system, high school, and the transition into college.
