Elianna Pena

A Social Relations Researcher and Legislative Advocate with over seven years of experience in child welfare and juvenile justice reform. She specializes in translating lived experience into systemic change through policy drafting, legislative testimony, and strategic communication. Elianna has held significant leadership roles with California Youth Connection and served as a Congressional Liaison for the Forum for Youth Investment, where she advised federal policymakers on health equity. As a Peer Narrative Ambassador for the Los Angeles County Department of Youth Development, she utilizes digital storytelling and content strategy to humanize justice reform issues. Currently pursuing studies in Sociology and Political Science at Long Beach City College, Elianna remains dedicated to fostering equitable community safety and inclusive advocacy.
