Each workshop is designed to be interactive and engaging, using real-life scenarios, group activities, and lived-experience facilitators who resonate with the challenges participants face.

1. What are Twinspire Hikes?

Twinspire Hikes are guided outdoor experiences designed to support mental wellness, build community, and encourage physical activity among foster and system-impacted youth.

2. Who can join the hikes?

Youth ages 13–30 who are part of Twinspire’s programs and mentors/families are welcome to participate. Hikes are inclusive and designed for all fitness levels.

3. What do participants gain from the experience?

Youth gain a sense of connection, stress relief, confidence, and mindfulness through nature-based activities and group reflection during the hikes.

4. How often do the hikes take place?

Twinspire hosts monthly hikes throughout Los Angeles County, often on weekends or during school breaks.

5. What should participants bring or wear?

Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a water bottle. Twinspire provides snacks, drinks, and transportation when available.
